These are my top 5 favorite restaurants in South Lake Tahoe. Check them out!

1
Driftwood Cafe This was our favorite place that we ate all weekend. It is always busy, so I recommend putting your name on the online waitlist before you get there. They have deliciously fresh coffee and lattes, spicy bloody mary's, and great omelets. There are also gluten free bread options for those who are gluten challenged like me!
2
Artemis Lakefront Cafe This is a little Greek patio restaurant that never seemed to be too busy. All the food was great, but the fries and the Artemis sauce were to die for. The dining area isn't located right on the shore, but you can see the lake and a decent view of the sunset.
3
Basecamp Pizza Co. This place had raving reviews so we had to check it out. After multiple attempts to dine in and the wait always being extraordinarily long, we settled on take out. The pizza lived up to the hype including the best gluten free crust I've ever had.
4
Riva Grill We saw that Riva Grill had great reviews so we stopped in for drinks and desserts. This place definitely did not disappoint! Great ambiance right by the lake, delicious cocktails, and even live music when we were there. This is more expensive option but we definitely want to go back for a full meal next time. It would be a great spot for a special occasion or celebration.
5
California Burger Co. Right in the heart of Stateline, this is a solid choice for good burgers and hefty portions. There are plenty of gluten free and vegetarian options available and the fries are delicious. We enjoyed sitting on the patio and enjoying an afternoon drink in the bustling center of Tahoe.
